Long fur or floppy ears can reduce the “spotlight effect.” Therefore, please feel free to contact us before purchasing so that we can decide together whether a LEUCHTIE from the Senior Edition is the best choice for you.
Tip:
Choose a size for the Senior Edition that fits the lower neck. For wire-haired or long-haired coats, we recommend 1-2 sizes larger, depending on the coat texture. This ensures that the LEUCHTIE sits lower on the neck and the two forward-facing LEDs do not shine against the lower jaw, but protrude from the dog's coat.

Which size fits my dog?

How to measure the size of the LED light collar LEUCHTIE LEUCHTIE is pulled over the dog’s head as closed ring. Consequently, for choosing the right size you have to measure the dog's head circumference, not the neck (exception see point 3).

Please measure the circumference of your dog's head at the thickest point - directly in front of the ears - tightly with a tape measure.
Select the closest size. If you are between two sizes, choose the smaller size preferably.
Is your dog's neck circumference larger than the head circumference?
Measure the neck circumference at the point where you want the LEUCHTIE to fit.
In this case we recomment to better base your choice of size on this measurement.

Weight specifications as well as breed examples are merely empirical values, not binding information. The LEUCHTIE size can vary depending on the physique, gender and texture of the fur; bitches for example tend to wear one size smaller than males and dogs with long fur at the neck often wear a number bigger than shorthaired dogs.

This item has a motion sensor:

Put the closed LEUCHTIE over your dog's head.

The motion sensor switches on automatically when the battery compartment points downwards and the LEUCHTIE is in motion. If the battery compartment faces upwards, it slowly switches off after approx. 1 minute. Therefore, suspend the LEUCHTIE e.g. on a hook for storage.
